Not much to say, just got bored and wanted to color these out, plus I may be adding more creatures to the collection soon.

Crow thought a while back that it would be a cool idea if I talked a little bit about how I got the names I use for my characters and creatures. Why not start here? I remember this one much better than some of my others.

Alright, where to start, probably best if I start with what inspired it. Ever read the story of the Tailypo? That creature haunted me for a long time, but the way it looked and acted kept changing in my mind until... well, I ended up with this, but it had no name.
I began experementing with names. Luner Rat was my first try, then it was just the Lune rat, that didn't stick long either. Lunerac, taking out rat and adding rac, like racoon, making it one word, that didn't stick long either.
Altaluuns hunt at night, so I wanted something to do with that, but something that was unique. Well I kept scrabling thing around and then I came up with Alfalune, from there it was just a little tweek, (adding the T in place of the F, mostly because of Tailypo i suppose) and changing it to double u's, because lets face it, words with double vowels just look funnier.
So yeah... that was about the train of thought there.

oh, by the way, I now LOVE Tailypo! Something about the strange little creature inspired a lot of things! I even have the picture of the Tailpo I drew that jumped off to become the Altaluun! ^-^
