Natural Rarity

Fluttershy is naturally beautiful. Pinkie pie is naturally... uh... Pinkie Pie. Rainbow Dash and AppleJack don't care too much about how they look. Twilight runs a comb through her mane and goes.

But Rarity- SHE puts a LOT of effort into how she looks. You see these girls all the time, they may have natural beauty, but they try so hard to make themselves look gorgeous. Rarity always struck me as that type. Permed mane, makeup, makeovers, mud masks, regular spa visits, the works, "the usual"- let's face it, she works hard to look like how she always looks in the episodes.

... so how would she look if she just flopped out of bed one day and was simply natural again? Frizzed and fluffed, uneven and wild, and all natural beauty. No combed out eyelashes or shadow, no neatly kept fur, no sprung up and sprayed mane... just natural.

I pegged her as the type to have curly/wavy hair naturally. Her little sister has curly hair, and when she gets stressed and messed up in Suited for Success, her hair gets crinkled and sort of messy and wavy. She probably works VERY hard to get it to curl the way it does.


So, that's essentially it.
